WONDER AS SPIRITUAL PRACTICE TRIP
Kenya, like all of Africa, is still dealing with the effects of colonization and stolen resources. we ask that if you sign up for this trip, you come with a heart and mind ready to learn and see the beauty of this place and the strengths in the local culture. We will have a zero tolerance for any derogatory comments about the way of life, culture, or people of this beautiful land. Those in our group are also asked to not engage in any activity that contributes to beggar/bestower mentality such as handing out money or candy. we have done our best to make sure, BOTH by who we hire or how we tip, that money spent on this trip goes back into local hands and that we are only working with locally owned businesses. If you have any questions about our practices, please feel free to ask us before signing up.

I went on my first yoga retreat to Italy with Alyssa’s group. It exceeded all my expectations!!! You could tell Alyssa did her homework in searching for the right place for this retreat…and she nailed it! We had a personal chef using farm to table ingredients, that I still miss every day!!! She arranged great excursions. You can’t go wrong if you choose Alyssa to help plan any adventure you choose! She’s a 5 star travel agent in my opinion!!!
